Why won't people go to the Jade Quarry?
Everyone is in Fort Aspenwood and when I advertise Jade Quarry in House, Cavalon, and both sides of Fort, a few come. Why do Kurzicks stay in Fort Aspenwood when they have a disadvantage when they can go to Jade Quarry which is much more fairer?

In the big list of forums and most recent posts, I saw "Why won't people go..." and knew immediately what the rest of your topic was That said, I don't know why. Especially now that rewards are improved in it, there are fewer and fewer excuses. Maybe becuase it is further along in the game, albeit marginally.

From what I heard, win at Jade Quarry = 300 Faction and lose at Aspenwood = 300 Faction. So yea.

it's the same pay out as aspenwood.
I think it's because of the past pay out has left a lasting effect, meaning people don't care since they're so use to aspenwood. What I have seen, every now and then maybe 3 or so groups worth of people in quarry on the luxon side, so I think there's some people who've seen the light
another thing is, alot of builds work alot better at quarry since the npcs group together rather well

Both Jade Quarry and Aspenwood are complete wastes of time for me to get faction in... I play neither...

Why does everyone think that defending Aspenwood is hard?

its a lot harder than attacking...
and since no luxons ever try to play jade quarry, kurzicks dont waste time to try to get a party there...

Yep, best answer. I think it is 90% this, and 10% that they don't want to learn a new battle when there are certain things in Aspenwood that can almost guarantee a win for one side or the other.
Once a shepard is able to find similar things in Jade Quarry, the sheep will follow I bet. Get out your cookie sheets and foodstuffs, and most important of all your cookie cutters and start baking for Jade Quarry. "If you cookie cutter it, they will come."

i haven't been able to even play jade quarry before... i waited 5 hours one time too! I mean what the heck >_<, but i agree because it is random luxons have a much easier time to do their job, too much coordination is needed on the kurzick side for random teams to do well.

I have visited Quarry a few times, but it's because no one plays there I leave after a few minutes again. I think that could be a reason for more people, they want to try it, but don't want to wait hours for it to start.

We had to organise an alliance outing of about 10 people just to get into this place so someone could explore it. Its just boring...

Actually, it is a GW culture now.
People can wait in fort aspendwood for 30 minutes without feeling annoyed, but the same people could not wait in jade quarry for 30 minutes without feeling annoyed.
The only solution I see possible is to have large guilds tell their members to afk in Jade Quarry whenever they need to get off guildwars. With this method, you can see large amount of players inside Jade Quarry and thus fixing the psychological problem to some extend.
Jade Quarry give the same faction yet faster to finish, technically... it is far better than fort aspendwood's farming.
However, Fort Aspendwood is one of the more creative battle ground I had seen.
